I am such an outgoing person, but when I step in front of people to speak I get SO nervous. I've been speaking in front of people since the 5th grade. Introducing special guests that visited the school, reading poems, and my most important was my Salutatorian speech. I remember being nervous, but I always got over it halfway through. Now that im in college, I wonder if getting it together in the middle is good enough. I really don't think so. Guess that's one more thing i'll be working on!
You did great on your presentation, Alona. Irma even wrote about it on her blog. Never be afraid to speak up or to be the beautiful you you are.

alona, thank you for the post and the note you left me in my letter from the class after my presentation. i would like to reciprocate by pointing out that your are one of the most fashionable people i've ever met in memphis, and its been nothing short of a pleasure getting to see you twice a week all semester:)
ReplyDeleteAwwwl Thanks Bobby!! =)
ReplyDeleteI think you do a wonderful job speaking, especially when you did your presentation. You brought me to tears gurls it was inevitable lol But if you do work on it and make it better you'll be even more better than you are now so go for it!
ReplyDeletei agree . i am always nervous in front of people . but once you get over your fear than you will be ok
ReplyDeleteGirl, I understand. Many people get that way. You did a great job anyways. I am proud of you for overcoming your fears. :)
ReplyDeleteI get the same way sometimes. Its just something about speaking in front of a crowd in a moment of seriousness that just gets me all shakey. I think you're a great speaker tho.
