R.I.P Baby Cameron

My only brother who is also my bestfriend had a son born on January 27,2011, however he was sent to heaven that same day. Cameron Antonio Gray would have been the 14th edition to my nieces and nephews, scratch that, HE IS the 14th edition to my nieces and nephews. I went to the hospital on the 28th to say my goodbyes. I cried as I held him and looked down at his little body. He was so perfect that God wanted him to be one of his Little Angels. We were told that there was a high possiblity of him not surviving the birth because his kidneys didn't develop like they should have. But my nephew did survive, he came out with his eyes open and he let out a small cry. Even though he passed shortly after that, atleast he got one good look around and with that cry he told us Hi.

RIP Cameron Antonio Gray (Little Cam Bam)

Old Habits Die Hard

I've always been one of those students that did great without putting in much effort. I graduated as Salutatorian while playing 4 sports and being the Vice-President of 3 clubs. I knew college would push me to study harder, but as they say old habits die hard; and for some reason this habit won't die! I still think that if I study just enough I would do great. My first semester as a Freshman I got all A's and a C. I was really mad about the C, however I knew deep down I did everything to deserve that grade. This semester, I find myself slipping back into my old mentality and I can't allow myself to do it. I really need to get better studying habits or I'll be forced to study the angry look on my mother’s face if I bring home a bad grade.

Is it the END?!

Everywhere I turn I hear someone saying the end is near. No one knows when the world will end. If you feel that your days are coming to an end the that's to bad for you. Im going to live like I have 1000 years ahead of me and when God says it's time for me to go then adios mi amigos. End of the world???? PLEASE!!

Anthropology

Today in my Anthropology class we discussed whether our beliefs were more scienced-based or more faith-based. I knew this discussion could turn into a heated argument because religion is a touchy subject and everyone doesn't have the same mindset. We had some students who believed science created us, some students including me felt it was God who created all, and we had those that had no clue of what/who created everything. It makes you think about how we came to be, but you have to be strong in your own faith or your mind can be changed easily.
